A practical framework, and a live training series, helping healthcare organizations integrate lived experience into efforts to improve care for pregnant and postpartum families affected by substance use disorder.
The challenge
Healthcare organizations working to improve care for pregnant and postpartum people affected by substance use disorder often struggle to move beyond awareness. Inviting people to share their stories is a start, but it is not the same as building structured, meaningful, sustained partnership.
LEI-SUD helps organizations close that gap. It provides the training, tools, and framework needed to integrate lived experience in ways that actually change care.
People are invited to share. They are rarely invited to lead.
How organizations use LEI-SUD

Use the implementation tools to define roles, create support structures, and connect lived experience partners to real improvement work.
