Why complete a MoMMAs Voices training program?

True and successful patient family partner engagement to improve maternal health goes beyond simply having or being a patient at a table. MoMMAs Voices' training programs for patients and providers are designed to help you to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to fully engage in improving maternal health at a local, state, or even national level. Scroll down to access our trainings for "Moms and Families" and for "Healthcare Providers."

For Moms and Families

Our Patient Family Partner (PFP) training is a self-paced online program designed for those with lived experiences to become a prepared advocate and actively participate in maternal health quality improvement. Click on the training to learn more about its content. At the completion of the program, you will have the advocacy tools needed to build successful partnerships and may be matched with opportunities to share your lived experience.Ā If you want to use your voice and experience to make an impact in maternal health quality improvement but are concerned about the cost of the training, please reach out to us about scholarship opportunities.

Note: if you have been referred to our program through one of our MoMMAs Voices Partners, please reach out to our team for more information on how to access your training.

ForĀ Providers

Our Lived Experience IntegrationĀ® training is designed primarily for healthcare providers and those working in maternal health quality improvement who wish to engage patients in the process. The courses, taught by lived experience experts from the MoMMAs Voices community, will teach you how to build successful partnerships and overcome common barriers to patient engagement, such as lack of experience and difficulty in finding the right patients.
