Lead with Us
We provide Certified Patient Family Partner (PFP) training for your members with a "lived experience" – or those that represent them, to ensure a productive partnership and accepting culture is a part of all patient care and quality improvement practices.
Our matchmaking program brings together maternal healthcare providers and PFPs to integrate the lived experience and create change wherever maternal health improvement is needed.
Together, we're addressing cross-cutting issues such as quality and consistency of healthcare delivery, patient-provider communications, racial disparities, inadequate research funding, and other major contributors to poor health equity and adverse outcomes in pregnancy and the postpartum period.
As part of MoMMA's Voices strategic plan, we will be offering grant funding to BIPOC led organizations. As funding becomes available, opportunities will be promoted to MoMMA's Voices Coalition members. If you want to be considered for grant funding and offered opportunities to apply, sign up to become a coalition member today.
Our community members were desperate to find purpose in their experiences and this was the
catalyst to help them get started. This training enables our community members the ability to
assess if they are ready, and provides them a foundational understanding of what is needed to
be a successful advocate.
